So you’ve tried many online marketing strategies, or perhaps you haven’t tried any, but you’re tired of not making any money online despite your best efforts.  You’ve been looking for the holy grail and purchasing new info products left and right hoping that one of them will give you the magic formula.  Perhaps you’ve even come close to finding a great internet marketing plan that makes sense, and looks like it could result in major profits.  Or maybe you’ve just been buying into more hype and don’t want to admit that you’ve been burned one too many times…

If you’re looking for the ultimate internet marketing plan or strategy, it is unlikely that you’ll find one.  I’ve purchased a great number of internet marketing training products over the past 7 years, and despite all the changes that have taken place, if you look closely, they all resemble one another, and have some common themes.  Sure there might be some bells and whistles, and things you may have never thought of, but what use is that if you haven’t mastered the fundamentals?  Michael Jordan wouldn’t have been the player he is today if he didn’t master the fundamentals.  People think it was all talent, but the talent is just what took him to the next level.  Without the fundamentals, it would have been extremely difficult to be able to do half of the things Michael did and he understood that.  Once he mastered the fundamentals, it was the extra “bells and whistles” that made him look untouchable.  That goes for all super star athletes.  If you look at how they practice it’s extremely basic and repetitive, yet is highly effective.  Then when they perform in game time, everything flows.  It was all those hours spent in the gym repeating the exercises, consciously, and with precision.   Remember, practice doesn’t make perfect.  Perfect practice makes perfect!

So in the same way that exceptional sport performance results from mastering the fundamental through perfect practice, great success in internet marketing results from mastering the fundamentals with, that’s right, perfect practice.  So you can read all the latest ebooks, videos, attend workshops, teleseminars, and discover a common theme in all of them.  We may not notice it right away, but it’s there if you look.  And sometimes we know, but we don’t want to admit it.  We somehow convince ourselves that there must be a better way.  An easier way.  A way that will allow me to spend less money, and see greater results.  But let me tell you something.  Time is money.  The more time  you waste not mastering the fundamentals of internet marketing, the more money you’re spending anyway.  So get it out of your mind that you need the perfect system that will agree with your deepest desires.  Success has nothing to do with what may or may not agree with you, and fulfills a desire.  It is very counter-intuitive, and you’ll have to do things that are sometimes different than what you may think seems logical.  Because not everything works out the way you think, usually the opposite.  That’s why most people fail, so start to think outside of the box, listen to your intuition instead of the thoughts in your mind, and start to embody the fundamental principles that will lead you to success.
